Summer sale until August the 15th

To raise funds for the next Taumaturgia releases, we begin a summer sale that will last until August the 15th. 5 € plus postage for each Taumaturgia title or 12 € plus postage if you order the three that are available now. The rest of the sale is from a selection of our distributed titles, most of them lowered to the 5 € mark. Just take a look at our catalog and see for yourself.

Ryu Hankil and John Tilbury will be playing in A Coruña on February

Next February there will be two more concerts within the Festival SinSal extensión Fase at the Luis Seoane Foundation in A Coruña. The first will be on Saturday the 13th, a trio with Ryu Hankil, Roberto Mallo and Miguel Prado.

The second will be on Sunday the 21st, by the english pianist John Tilbury. Both concerts will start at 21.30 and the admission will be free.

Ruido & Capitalismo in A Coruña

On october the 23rd a debate session at the Luis Seoane Foundation will take place. It will be centered around the book Noise & Capitalism, a collaborative work edited by Arteleku. We'll have the participation of Mattin, one of the authors.

Forthcoming release

We are currently preparing what will be our next release, this time will be a recording by the korean Ryu Hankil entitled Becoming Typewriter.

We should also say that we've run out of copies of the Volontè CD-R, so if you want to get it you'll have to ask for it to our distributors.

Upcoming releases and new distribution titles

A new year and some thaumaturgic novelties. We begin preparing what will be our next two releases, to be out on february. The first is Double-entendre by french musician Julien Skrobek and the other one is Goat vs donkey, a recording of the concert that Radu Malfatti and Taku Unami played in A Coruña last november.

Furthermore, there's plenty of new titles on our distribution catalog: the triple CD-R 3D which documents a concert by saxofonist Seymour Wright and Keith Rowe from three different points of the venue, released on w.m.o/r; the latest releases from the Free Software Series, including the CD-R by Miguel Prado Dios aborrece una singularidad desnuda and also CD-R's by Julien Ottavi and Pato among others; we also have received a few copies of Billy Bao's new LP, Dialectics of Shit. The bulk of the CD's comes from three newly distributed labels: The Manual (Korea), Étude Records and the newborn Appel Music (France). This newly distributed titles can be ordered from this very page (catalog).

New CD-R's by Volontè and Josetxo Grieta

The new CD-R's by Volontè and Josetxo Grieta are finished and can be ordered now, both are limited to 100. Besides, from now on all artifacts released by Taumaturgia will be available as downloads in the ogg format for free. You can order or download them (or both) through our catalog.

Farewell Josetxo

Josetxo Anitua, member of Josetxo Grieta and Cancer Moon passed away yesterday.

Thanks for all Josetxo, rest in peace.

More distributed titles and a press feature

Four more addings to Taumaturgia's distribution list from the german label Absinth:

All of them are editions of 500 with handcrafted covers.

The number of titles we're distrituing is growing, we add now all the titles (excluding oop ones) from w.m.o/r and Free Software Series record labels run by Mattin. Records by Bruce Russell, Mark Wastell, Mattin, Thomas Korber, Julien Skrobek and may more. You can consult more detailed information in our catalog.

New distribution update

Two more titles to add to our distribution list, both of them also from Mattin. The first one is a double CD by "                  " [sic] Goldie "ABJECTOR" [sic] (aka Tim Goldie) percussionist and also a member of Deflag Haemorrhaghe / Haien Kontra going solo. The other title is the second release of the new label Free Software Series, created by Mattin to publish works realized only with free software. This one is Frutamental by kakofunk. New distribution point

The CDVribación by Rafael Mallo is now on sale at the Centro Galego de Arte Contemporátea (CGAC), Santiago de Compostela.

Concert in Santiago de Compostela

Miguel Prado and Roberto Mallo will be playing next thursday the 17th at the DF Contemporary Art Gallery in Santiago de Compostela (San Pedro Street 11). The concert will begin at 21.00 hours and the ticket price is 3 €.
